For the last month been using the lighter shorty pack because I thought lighter was faster.

Last week I switched back to saddles ( 2 oz more weight) and have gone on average 3 sec quicker run after run.

Who ever says lighter is always faster has it all wrong.

Now that's behind the curve...

We have some parts at Trcr & more arriving every few days.
On interest to you may be the alloy steering arms & front arm brace.
^Posted yesterday. I thought you didnt even have a car yet, now your saying that you're faster with saddles? Comparing results for the past month?

stock is no different

Traction has always been way more important for speed then a lighter ride.

Still don't have my B5m yet

Reason I did not purchased earlier was my checks just arrived last week.
Have purchased most of the upgraded parts I wanted..
I'm breaking in tires right now , have $200 worth to scuff .

Expecting more kits to arrive soon.

You all will know when I get it..
Have a big race ( JConcepts series) in just 2 weeks ...

Wait a minute, what about your "ultra-light" SC10 4x4?

I thought it was the best 4x4 SCT because it was so light?

Many post here about their rides not having any grip coming out of the turns.

Yet they tell everyone to buy light drive shafts & pucks.

Owell....nuff said...

You can take weight out of the car and then build a setup around it. You dont just fix a car by slapping weight on it....you should know this.

Matt I know this much.

They were all preaching to use square or saddles for last 4 months or so & now it's 25c shortys .

Expect this to all change as this debate is still going on.

Heavier offers better forward traction which mid designs crave and need.
Lighter offers better landings off jumps another craving for Mid designs.

Informing which is going to help your ride and how they effect performance is more important then spending $ in vain attemps for more speed.

You can't say that without providing more information - it just isn't that simple.

The static weight of a car doesn't tell any of us anything, or I should say, not much of the story.

What matters most is weight bias - where is the weight situated in the car.

Is it weight or weight bias that is important? Honest question.
