I need to go back and shim the rear arms where they connect to the chassis. There was an unusual amount of slop there. I also was a little worried about how much slop the shock caps have on the upper shock mounts. The tops of the shocks can shimmy back and forth quite a bit at the upper shock mounts. I thought maybe I was missing something that might have needed to go in the shock cap hole but didn't find anything in the instructions

I got to fiddle with a partially built car last saturday and the rear arm was snug on that particular car. Don't know if he had to shim or not. On the RM Captcha went to the aluminum toe block and that took out any/all slop. Might be another option to look at.

WARNING . If you get the clamping front axles check the inner bearing seats all the way on.Mine had a ridge and damaged the bearing and is now notchy,This happened during installation, car has not been driven. While at hobby shop exchanging it and buying new bearings another guy there overheard me and said his does the same thing. That is 2 sets that were bad and there is probably more.

For a neater wiring job, did anyone consider to route the motor wires under the battery where the sensor wire should go…? Obviously some modding required incl the chassis, and possibly limited to 14G wire… any purists out there?

Why would AE call out the fact that the new shafts are 3mm in their write up as far as new features.
Everyone grab their calipers, because aside from what the digital read out is, when I lock em down on the 4.2's and SC10.2 shafts and move right over to my B5 they don't come close to sliding over the shaft.
