get yourself some heat shrink from harbor freight. There's a ginormous variety pack from pencil thin to cva axle diameter size or bigger. find one close to the shock bushing size and shrink it on. Done. This generally occurs when there are interactions of metric vs sae measurements. so perhaps they're the old design generic bushings but new cap holes?

You could seize this as an opportunity for additional wheelbase adjustment. any motor shim will work. knowing ae, probably just about any shim in the kit would fit too. I don't know the hinge pin sizes these days but an oversize ID shim isn't going to hurt in this case.

I got to fiddle with a partially built car last saturday and the rear arm was snug on that particular car. Don't know if he had to shim or not. On the RM Captcha went to the aluminum toe block and that took out any/all slop. Might be another option to look at.

WARNING . If you get the clamping front axles check the inner bearing seats all the way on.Mine had a ridge and damaged the bearing and is now notchy,This happened during installation, car has not been driven. While at hobby shop exchanging it and buying new bearings another guy there overheard me and said his does the same thing. That is 2 sets that were bad and there is probably more.

Stupid question, but did you install part 91414 rear hub spacers as called out in the instructions?

For a neater wiring job, did anyone consider to route the motor wires under the battery where the sensor wire should go…? Obviously some modding required incl the chassis, and possibly limited to 14G wire… any purists out there?

The bearings are an issue, clamp or no clamp. I don't think it has anything to do with your install.

With all of the rain, snow, and freezing temperatures pretty much everywhere, I would say no one.

I hate to beat a dead horse now but something is up with the shock shafts. Don't wanna call Kody Numdendahl and Predu liars but there's more than just tolerance differences going on here, there's a substantial difference between my FT B4.2's along with my SC10.2 shafts and my B5 shock shafts.

Why would AE call out the fact that the new shafts are 3mm in their write up as far as new features.

Everyone grab their calipers, because aside from what the digital read out is, when I lock em down on the 4.2's and SC10.2 shafts and move right over to my B5 they don't come close to sliding over the shaft.
