I think that was Aaron driving.

Bob said nothing about having to change the tower in the vid and emphasizes they are indeed universal. I'm pretty confident the arms are cross compatible without having to change a shock tower which requires removing turnbuckles.

There are 2 different front towers available for their respective arms.

Whether it was Hartson, Waldron, you or me driving it...it was sliding all over the place. Maybe it had those blue rear and orange front barcodes on it still, I don't know. I wish that car had the molded chassis option for looser conditions, and the aluminum for high bite conditions.

nevermind....they list a "front tower" #91373 and a "front shock tower" #91516. So it looks like they will change with their own respective arms as well.

This seems correct. Check out the two towers (of course there are hard versions of each of these):

For all we know there's more flex in the alloy chassis than the molded chassis on the RM car. The material doesn't determine that, the design does. Maybe there's a tuning option by removing/adding screws to the molded sides?

In one of the interviews he did say that you need to change the tower as well. No biggie, IMO.

Time will tell I guess...aluminum chassis's with side rails bolted to to them should be pretty stiff as far as flex goes. We will ALL know a lot more in a couple of months though.

they are running the spec tire for at the reedy race in those videos, so it might not be 100% the best tire combo for the track... if you watch the RM video you see a MM car pass and pull away from the RC painted rm car too.

its just like putting gullwing arms on the sc10 before they came in the sc10.2 kit, you changed the tower also. it changes angles and feel alot, so a different tower is really needed to keep balance. racing - always about balance.

I thought maybe the car action guy was driving the rm and maybe kody the mm in that part. That would also explain how the rm got its doors blown off, lol
