Thank you guys.
The Lite is excellent. Great kit. 100% competitive out of the box for stock or mod.

I have raced my B5m Factory lite a couple of times (17.5 stock with the trinity short stack 1s 17.5 motor). On indoor clay the car "with the out of the box, kit set-up" was 1 second a lap faster than my b4.2 (24ish second laps in stock).

On an outdoor, dirt track the B5M with slightly softer rear shocks (lighter spring and lighter shock oil) was only .2 seconds faster (again avg of 24ish second laps in stock) than my b4.2, however it was more consistent per lap (my top 5 was close to a second faster with the B5m Factory lite than with my 4.2 factory team.

I have been very happy with the B5M for racing stock vs. my B4.2. (an I liked my 4.2

well not a flapper as in noises it just looks big and heavy, it is a little heavier but very very durable , it is actually not as loud as lexan doesn't make noise when it flips on its lid much at all which kinda hurts on marshaling sometimes, we all marshall with our ears as much as our eyes

I'm guessing he was referring to the fact that YOUR CAPS LOCK WAS ON AND YOU WERE YELLING.

Haha, he only does that on rctech. I never see that on FB. He must be using a work computer that has caps lock on.

That is the BIG downside to the plastic sworkz wing. It makes no sound when you crash. So, sometimes you will sit upside down a few extra seconds if the marshels are not on their game. I had a guy one tell me he didnt "hear" my kids crash behind him.

Hey all, just finished building my b5m lite. This is my first build a I'm super stoked how it came out. Before I go out and put it through its paces is there anything I should know about or look for to break it in? Things to avoid at first?

Make sure your ball cups don't bind. Properly break in your ball diff. Check for binding suspension. Otherwise, should be good to go

Thank you guys.
I just got back into the racing scene and got the B5M lite because I wanted to race 17.5 first before I go to mod. The buggy is killer out of the box no doubt. Its super nimble and I can toss it whatever way I want and it just hooks. I had a B4.1 before and I am quicker with the B5M for sure.

Just figure out your gearing and what motor you want to run and your golden. I was looking at all the fancy hop ups for the car but I ran the car stock besides just running my electrics in line. I still am going to get a few things but the car is awesome stock!
