my main interest is in the new shafts and pistons. The gold looks cool but I like the getting rid of the clips on the pistons. i would settle for the old bodies with the new shafts and pistons.

Yes. the only thing that isn't interchangeable is the new pistons with old shafts and new shafts with old pistons.

Without browsing the 14,000 posts in this thread, what would be the advantages and disadvantages of running an inline setup?

Couple questions....
-Will a B5M body work on a B5M Lite?....it's already been cut for a B5M.
-Do I run the esc or motor in reverse for the Lite? OR reverse the direction in my radio? I'm running Novak Club Race esc and Novak Vulcan 13.5

Body will fit, you'll just need to cut the other side out. You do not need to reverse direction on anything. That was the point of flipping the motor plate to the other side.

Cool, thanks! I've heard both ways on reversing direction on electronics. Good to know I can use the electronics I already have! Thanks guys!!

Need some advice on motor setup.
Currently running a speed passion 8.5t and thought my car felt ok. Drove a friends B4 yesterday with a Tekin 13.5 and it's got far more power and is definitely faster. Was running the same tires on both cars.
I think I've got the stock recommended gearing for 8.5.

Any ideas? Thought the 8.5 would have at least the same amount of power, expected more.

Ahhhh Haaaaaaa! I felt something was a miss when most of the T5M setups are using the Kyosho Golds. Gotta assume they're higher quality similar to the kyosho's.

I have paid a premium for a few things but the bigger draw back for me is their site. They need to update their shopping cart, it is finicky for myself with name not matching, PayPal would be awesome, something closer to Avid or Schelle would be a step in the right direction.
