I also like the ability to retain the use of velcro for securing the body via the delrin insert pieces.

edit: Looks like he's close to production

I believe so but I can't find any "official" announcement on the FB page. I sent him payment via PayPal and mine is in the mail.

I updated your listing on the first page, let me know when you have something new or are ready for orders, I'd be happy to post it here.

I ran my Lite today. Not too bad but not really much different than my other light weight B5Ms. When racing started this morning the car was dog poop. After a couple hours when the sun came out and the track warmed up it was great. Just to confirm, with a 3250mah Trackpower lipo my car weighs 1440 grams. Its right on the money 1500 grams with an SMC 4600 shorty. I was able to achieve that without resorting to swiss-cheesing any part of the car or taping in the battery. I also want to confirm that the B5M Lite was terrible when the track was cold and dusty (low traction). The only note worthy thing that happened is that I broke a ballcup. The new ones seem more brittle to me....

My lite was on rails on the first run. My kit only had a right turnbuckle and no left (on the notch oriented pieces). And I broke the screw going into the hex, now looking into replacements.

Does anyone know if the schelle slipper will work with the mip aluminum three gear tranny. I ask cause when I tighten down the nut for the slipper the spring is almost fully compressed?

The MIP tranny moves the motor plate 3mm, but uses a standard length top shaft. You can try their supplied spring (I just got an MIP set to play with this weekend) OR switch to a non-flanged 4mm nut which is not as tall and try it.

We have something in the pipeline to help this issue.

Yes it does. There are a few driver's at my local track running this exact combo.

I had the same problem with my hex...found out the smaller screw shouldn't be torqued much at all and a little locktite will do the trick.
