has anyone installed the +4 c mount and 5mm hexxes? I just installed mine and the hex isn't even close to clamping the axle. I tightened the screw all the way in the hex and it just slides on and off the axle, it is super sloppy on the axle.

The new 5mm hex is designed for the new HD axle that is about .3mm thicker than the standard B5/B5M axle

I am. LoL.The Venom shorties. They've been good, this is like 4th season I think. Mid 2012 is the date I wrote on them. We only race the 10th scale cars indoor from October to April. I use an 8.5 in mod nowadays. Smaller track around 90x60 I think. With this car i just converted the only extra mod motor I have is a Velocity 7.5.

My new venom shorties are absolutely killer. Best battery I have used to date. Its pretty sad when my venom packs have lower IR and more punch than my high end reedy and orion packs.

Hard to get the angle with my phone. But there is less than a 2mm gap. But the battery is crazy loose in there. It slides forward easy. I guess with my layout I could just stuff foam in there.

I'm attempting the full inline layout. The Tekin RS is just a little too big of footprint to fit though.

That's me pre-ordered a B5M Lite!

Can anyone tell me which length of flat sensor cable I'll need to run it under the battery?

Try turning the battery thumb screws upside down, that's what I had to do on the RM with my SMC 3500 & 3800 packs.

I cut a piece of foam to go under the battery.

You should put the foam between the battery and the brace to keep your COG as low as possible.
