Can someone point me in the direction of a company that has a ceramic bearing kit for the b5m that is in stock? Coming up short here.

Best ceramic bearings IMO. I just got some and my gearbox is soooooo free and my temps dropped and car seemed to get faster with them.

I think he wants a FULL ceramic kit, not a tranny kit. And IMO, the Aura bearings from avid are more free.

The only ones out of stock are for the B5RM. The 3 gear and B5M 4 gears are in stock.

+1, Trust the company that has been in the RC Bearing business for over 10+ years.

Yep, Avid has been in the bearing business for a while. I was talking to David and realized that he knows a crap ton about bearings. I find him to be an invaluable source if information.

I sourced my own ceramic stuff... unfortunately not much cheaper. But they are incredible, i had to turn up my drag brake because my car was so free.

hahaha, priceless. Buy expensive bearing, and the car is too free, so add drag. Nice. But yeah, I have been running ceramics in my hubs for about 6-8 months and they are still as smooth as new.

So you free'd up the drive train with ceramic bearings, to max your car's speed... then added heat to the motor with more drag brake which will net you less voltage across your run, and more heat in the motor.

(just playin with ya... wont do much)
