I've run mine on three race weekends thus far and I just can't tell the difference from the 4 gear transmission. Granted, I'm running it in Mod, so maybe the stock guys notice the difference, but I can't.

has anyone seen a difference between the stock associated b5m body and any others.. for example the jconcepts finisher body?? i usually run jconcepts finisher bodies because thats what came when i bought it. and i got an associated b5m body from my LHS cuz it was cheap. im gonna paint it soon. but just wanted to hear some thoughts.

The kit body has crappy clearance in the back. it is pretty thin, at least mine was.

Ron has been playing/testing 17.5 motors, lets just say he had a bit more power than the rest of us....

Picked one of these up Yesterday,as a newbe and have never done a full build I stayed up all night and finished it.The b5 looks really good.Just a question could probable read through the 800 odd pages but thought I'd ask the expert's what motor and esc should I put in it to get the best performance it has to offer?

What's your budget?

Since you didn't give one, I'll recommend my experience: Orion R10.1 pro and a Trinity Certified 1s 17.5 if you're racing 17.5
