IMO the MM parts were not released, so that people with too much money cant convert the RM to MM before the release. bacause given all the MM parts, you can obviously make the RM to MM. I added it up to be about $150 in parts and I can promise you, many people here would convert it.

Yep thats my guess why Associated waits releasing some parts. I know a couple of guys waiting for the 2nd batch of rear motor kits and they were contemplating building the kit from buying individual parts. It would be like $100 more! Some peoples kids....

I understand not releasing parts for sale but you would think the photos and manual would be completed. What manual is in these "kits with the wrong packaging"?

Just seems like there is more going on, hopefully I'm wrong

The manual for the MM has been out. It's just not posted on their website. I believe there's a link for it on the first post of this thread.
