Sure does... was able to blow up the picture and look at it again.. also there are some other pictures on other sites that show a top view of Craig's car.. and sure enough... it's that new transmission in those CAD pictures.... now the fun part is seeing how that thing mounts in the car since it looks like there is no waterfall and it has a tans brace like the Centro does... might be a different chassis altogether

I think some guys are retro fitting the yz2 tranny into the B5M.

Which ones gonna get the factory team treatment when the time comes, both??
Is there any reason for someone to now buy the "regular" b5m instead??
pardon me if this sounds ridiculous.....im just trying to figure out what the purpose of the "regular" b5m is going forward. (different transmissions etc)
All good questions, I think the "lite"is the factory team version minus the battery brace. I don't see the need for the reg B5M unless u use that for mod and "lite"for spec/stock?
In this case the T5M is obsolete already and its not even released yet lol! Just get the T5M "lite" ( if the make it) and add weight! It's $ making at its best..

I didnt have any issues ordering mine. They send you a link with the estimated production date and ship date.

Also, someone said that SRS has shapeways waterfalls. that seem wrong to me, but you can check.

recommendations for aluminum servo horn that has the right spacing (puts ball stud at right height and distance from arm).

The losi alum horn for the 22 is a perfect fit. It's tapped 4-40 but that's not a problem. I know many that use it.

The Lite car is strictly geared for stock and comes with a few things I wouldn't want on my mod car including the 3 gear tranny, alum front axles and the milled chassis... However, we may end up running that chassis.

I'd be willing to bet there's a factory team car right around the corner...

Did anyone already mention how the Lite car comes with shorter turnbuckles? I built my original B5M with those shorter links and my cups out of the kit have been as smooth and free as they get since day one!

So u think there will be 3 B5M's. Why?
3 gear is not strictly for stock racing, we've been using 3 gear for many years in mod. And aluminum front axles don't matter stock or mod

The original is just a team car which is always the first offering from AE = the basic kit. Then comes the factory team car... The Lite car is a new offering for the ever booming (weight crazed) stock guys.

The Factory team car will be the all around racer kit, the team kit will fade away and then there'll be RTR's with all basic parts that were in the team kit.
