Turn buckles, avid pistons, TI screws ect...

And that was a B44.2 with all the titanium hop ups. I see his car nearly every time I go to the track!

All I'll do is change the TI turnbuckles from my 4.2 to it and see from there.

I don't think the Serpent can accept the new Reedy square packs like the B5 does.
Not saying its a game changer but I like the thinking!

FYI- it looks like the front camber links are shorter than those on the 4.2. You may have to buy two new turnbuckles.

FT will be TI turnbuckles and check out the parts list on the AE website. A lot of parts marked FT will be on FT. FT will be a little more money which it should and when FT comes out drivers will be doing other stuff so question will be.....what extra stuff should I do to FT when I get it .

I'll go out on a limb and say that beside the possibility that the hard plastics become a useful tuning aid, none of the FT upgrades have any detectable impact on performance. Heck, they may have even upgraded the steel in the turnbuckles to something better than pot-metal making to unnecessary unless the kit is heavy (did you know that cromoly is a couple times stronger than titanium?).

Unless an enduro category that requires 5000mah+ emerges I can't imagine why that would be desirable.

Best thing to do is build the kit and run it. Determine what parts are weak for how you drive and upgrade as necessary. Your putting the cart before the horse when already talking about a FT kit. The only upgrade I will make is aluminum rear hexes. If any other "hop ups" are needed then make then accordingly.

Just build the damn thing and run it.

looks like power has the pricing on the B5 parts. Some of them seem overly priced to me, I have a feeling avid and JConcepts will be able to under cut.

So what gearing should I be running for 17.5 in this thing. In my current b4.2 I run 69/34
