Seems like a lot of space on each side where the battery can move around. Seems like the square pack or saddles is the only way to go.

Just do it Monty...(B5)

I'm getting one , heck everyone one is.

racer, the xrings and machined bushings on the 22 shocks were huge. I am hoping something along those lines will help the b4 shocks.

anyone have an insight why they mounted the rear shocks on the front side of the shock tower? most kits mount them on the backside. just wondering. Ill be getting the B5M as soon as they are released, then getting my B5 later on.

Monty, it comes with a foam for those running a shorty pack. I'm SURE you are at least running a shorty stick pack. If not, you can get them for cheap fpr mod class and "get with 2013 man!, it's almost over!"

Looks like the rear arms are swept forward... Most likely to put more of the motor's weight over the rear tires. The probably wanted the weight of the shock tower as far back as possible so they had to mount the shocks forward to match up with the arms.

tbh i like aluminum hexes just because they CLAMP....

only 4 upgrades ill be doing... turnbuckles, shock shafts, machined pistons, rear clamping hexes. and ill prolly just take them off my b4.2 and put the b5 ones back on it, since it wont be worth too awfully much after the b5 is out.

no man, absolutely not cool. Why are there 2 different threads for the same vehicle?

Because it's not the same vehicle....

Two completely different kits. Serpent has a thread for both versions. Shumacher has a thread for both versions. So why wouldn't they have two separate threads for the TWO new Associated cars.

I do expect it to have the same "sloptastic" quality as previous kits...bummer but oh well.
So you don't like the shocks, the fact that it doesn't come with all of the FT bling, and you perceive it as being "sloptastic" but you are still buying it?
