Hi,

In the C4.1 / C4.2 a 180mm / 200mm sensor lead is fine.

By comparison, with RM I'd never switch to SS tires on our track. In even the slickest, lowest grip conditions on a track that has a rep for being loose, I would always run MM and be faster.

So, definitely mess around with tires. I'd guess that if your track is really high grip, you'll still settle on the same tires. I think some people give up on MM too soon before figuring the tire situation and setup out.
Thanks. out here we are talking loose black dirt. When watered traction does come up but it doesn't hold for long on one of the tracks before its back to being loose.

Very tight, small track, very fun too.

A larger one that does 1/8 on it commonly also can be very dry and loose as well. Fun stuff.

After traveling to AL and Waflets track, heck, that was like medium traction compared to out here when I played around on it

Anyone heard if the front plastic hingepin brace on the RM version at least is more durable than what was commonly upgraded on the B4?

One of the team drivers is at our local track and had the alu part installed.

He said it's an upgrade if you like the blue, but certainly not remotely necessary. Looking at the manual and the car in person, it looks much more stout than what was on the B4 for sure.

I agree though, that was one of the first parts I looked at.

we have locals that crash a decent amount and they are not breaking the plastic one. But we dont have high speed sections with steel poles or brick wall either. Just some white pvc pipe.

True...

Some of us "could" find a way to break most anything.

My observation is tires for MM seem to require firmer sidewalls and/or stiffer foams than what I was running on RM. I look forward to see if this holds true on my new B5M (when I get it) which according to rumors should be out before March 1st. Gotta love rumors!

I bet it's out early...before the listed March 15th date.

Why is this on page 3! Subscribed, ordered mine today. Tower super saver deal lured me in. Maybe I'll have it by May! Sounds like they could be here in SoCal by month end.

If I wouldn't get dinged at the boarder, I'd get a B5 in a heart beat.

Anybody got a body out for the B5M? Wanted to get it painted while I am waiting for the car to come in.
