yeah, I kinda want to run them back to back. I will be spending all of my time running indoors. on medium bite tracks. MM might end up being the goto and I could always sell the RM or convince my kid that her 22 needs to be sold. I just really want to try MM again. I tried it outdoors and it sucked. But all of the mod guys here have gone MM indoors. So if the mod guys can find traction, I would figure it would be easy in 17.5. But heat and weight is a bit of a concern.

Mip top shaft

Mixed in titanium and aluminum screws
Hobbywing extreme stock esc, very light and great in stock
Ceramic motor bearings
still might want the alum rear camber block for durability.

I literally made up my mind and just ordered a B5m kit. I want to be able to compare them.

And maybe I will eventually want the mid for mod, and keep the rear for 17.5, I dunno yet. But rather than spend 100 bucks to have the ability to swap from rear to mid, but alway having a pile of spare parts to make it happen doesn't really excite me.

Already have it, and I will probably get the arm mounts to remove the slop in them

yeah, I am of the same mind. I only like to drive buggies and kinda want to run another class. I will get smoked in mod, but I dislike SC and 4wd buggy is not very popular. I kinda wish ST made a come back, lol.

I hope so, right now I'm running mod with an 8.5, and it is an absolute blast to drive, I'm just not consistent enough in mod, and a lot if the mod drivers at my track have sponsorships

I can't stand SC, such a stupid class of ugly, noisy, bouncy trucks, with usually, really stupid drivers.

I run ST and 17.5 buggy and LOVE BOTH. Dude just order a mid kit and get it over with lol.

Im trying to think in my head....If you buy the coversion to MM then you would have all the RM parts left over to buy a RM conversion then you would have both cars.
Whats the cost for 2 conversions? Does it save you any money that way? probably not.....

No doesn't work that way because you don't get any of the parts in either conversion kit that are shared between the complete car kits.

Been loving my rear motor, just ordered a mid. I am planning on running 17.5 with it. Is there a good setup for a medium grip, clay surface that would be a good starting point?

Not that we are elite, just that SC is lame. And 17.5 SC is super lame. I tried SC for about 2 years and just didnt like it at all. Way too much body roll, and nothing like a sudden gust of wind to ruin your main.

The box set up worked pretty good for me, there is still some refinement I'm going to be trying over the next few weeks, but it felt very balanced to me
