Has anyone heard when the B5m pre orders might be shipping out? I know the B5 was marked as "estimated arrival date" as March 15th on most hobby sites. But then this week I saw a bunch of guys at my track got the B5.

march 15th was the b5m, feb 26th was what everwhere said for the b5r.

if the b5m follows the same patern it could be as early as the coming week, but as a business model i doubt that, the earliest i think it would be would be a week before the cactus, meaning the first week in march.

One of the videos made mention of the posability of a conversion from the b5m to b5r. Has anyone heard anything more concrete about it?

I really want to try a mm, but have yet to see a mm car (losi, schumacher, team c, kyosho) work on my track (low to medium traction indoor red clay, currently smooth, but not typically). I really don't want to get into a mm buggy with out an easy out if I can't get it to work.

I'd imagine a conversion comes quick.
RTR may only be rear motor, with mm conversion already available.

Recap: rm, mm, conv, rtr, ft(mm only)

Just my guess.

The kit body is made by AE... It's not a proline body.

The JC silencer bodies are shipping this week though!

The b5m has a different chassis and material than the b5r. Perhaps the Losi22 2.0 would be the way to get both? Just saying' ......

If a mid motor car does not work at your track then why get one? This is why they came out with 2 cars. Different cars work in different conditions. Get the one that works best for you not the one that is the new cool thing to do

For low to barely med traction the rear motor will naturally be the best choice.

Fact...
mid motor guys are way kooler then the rear motor guys...LoL

Who said that? The stock B5rm and B5mm bodies are different. Did JC get a mid motor car to test bodies on, to my knowledge they only got the rear motor car to build the original design off of.
