Yeah George - I'll be thinking of batteries as a one season option in the future and go with Hobbyking next time. The one I did buy from them is nearly dead (was great for 1 season!) but it worked very well for the time I would expect it to.

I use shrink wrap and it works great. No reason to think it takes up weight.

Is it "invisible shrink wrap" that weighs nothing? Otherwise every gram over 1499 counts as far as I'm concerned!

so every gram over 1499 is the differance between winning a losing? I did not realize that. I guess that's why you West Coast guys are so much faster then us East Coast guys. J/k. Stock racing is a different animal.

Hahaha weight like 1 gram. I told you the advantage it keeps the packs looking new. I have three year old packs that still look brand new. Your loss.

I guess it's not that important to me that my packs look new.

How does it cost me any more to have battery packs that look like they've been used? I don't plan on selling them. I plan on using them until they wear out and then replacing them.

I don't need the extra weight. I don't want to worry about retaining any extra heat.

Seen used to help crack packs hold together with no glue.

Get your $50 dollar bill ready!

Funny thing is that 9 out of 10 toy car drivers will want it... even though it provides no gain in performance (slight roll center tunability over the stock hubs). Wait -- I'll probably want them too! LOL
