I was told the x car 120 amp esc is better than the trackstar turbo 120 amp unit, does anyone had any experience with either?
There are a couple of reviews on Youtube, however I cannot post any links yet.

Me and a few of my friends have been using Tracksatr 120a ESCs for a few months now. They are as good as anything out there. I have zero complaints with them.

I have a trackstar 120A in mine right now and I'm running equal lap times to higher end esc's. It's smoothe on throttle and brake and best bang for your buck. The rekindled RS can handle up to 8.5 but if your going to run a trek in I'd get the rsx it can handle a 8.5 better. If you want a really reliable and good quality esc chech out the LRP flow

Hey guys, quick question regarding the rear motor arms on this car. Did I see somewhere that when running the rear motor rear arms you flip them side to side on the mid motor car? Like you run the left arm on the right or vise versa? Or am I just losing my mind?

That is correct.. you run the R arm on the left... and the L arm, on the right, so they sweep forward. Otherwise they would sweep the wrong direction.

I run on a Med-med/high traction clay track and I'm running 3+1.5 and my car is hooked up.

I think most everyone runs 3 degrees toe and from 1 - 2 degrees on the anti-squat

Medium traction? I would run either 3/0 or 3/1. I was running 3/2 for a few weeks, but the car felt significantly easier to drive and easier to push with 3/1, so I went back. We run on high bite indoor clay.

I finally switched to the alum C + D blocks. Running 2.5 x 1. I run the plastic hubs so depending on track conditions I switch to the .5 inserts for that 3 deg total. Now that we have a fresh layout its time to put back the 0.

Looking forward to trying out some JConcepts Smoothies. A buddy ran them last night and they seemed alright. I had the opportunity to drive his car but I have no "before" run to compare it to. His setup is a little different than mine which I could say accounted for some of the differences in how the car drove but it definitely seemed planted everywhere.

I'm assuming you are running a 3/1 toe block with .5 deg in the hub?
