OK so here goes a long shot. Forgive me for being OT.

Once upon a time there was the most amazing oil weight vs. piston hole, comparison line graph chart. I think it was on Oople RC. I had this saved and for the life of me I cant find it. Spent an hour googling/searching for it today. Anyone have this laying around they could drop a link to? Thanks!

Weighed mine again last night at the track, I'm at 1576 now. I think the Avid slipper setup is a little lighter than stock, but I don't know for sure. All I have done since last weigh in is the Avid Triad slipper, aluminum shock and wheel nuts and aluminum shock bushings.

I haven't installed the MIP aluminum top shaft yet and I'm thinking about getting the MIP pucks. That should lighten it up a little bit more.

I think the avid is like 16 grams lighter. the pucks will shave off another 25 grams and the MIP topshaft will shave of like 10. That steep topshaft is heavy. with the MIP top shaft and pucks, you should notice quite a bit more snap power.

Thanks. I didn't notice the 2mm difference until today when I put the car on a gauged setup board and saw it. I've been running on carpet so traction hasn't been an issue, but plan to go clay/dirt in the upcoming weeks, so I may need that extra sweep.

Stiffer front springs will give you more steering correct?

Would you feel a difference from going from whites to grays?

Thought it was the exact opposite for front spring and steering...

What if you were to just run softer front oil?

Would that gain more steering?

@3srcracing
Depending on when and where you need more steering...

On power, off power, corner entry or corner exit?

If it is everywhere on the track you either need some major setup changes or you are over-driving the car.
