Interesting... IF any tries it on there's please post if they have the same issue.
ive still yet to find unbound turnbuckles on a b5 that aren't owned by a team driver.. most people just think it will "run in".. The best way to fix it is to make a reamer out of a ball stud. Cut slits in the ball stud like you would see on an arm reamer.. then chuck it into a drill. Pop it into the cup BEFORE spinning it or you will ruin the cup. Spin it around while moving the cup around for a few seconds and you should be good.

The first run of shock ends also bind... this can definitely cause problems as well

3300kV to 3900kV is a range and 3730kV falls between that. The recommended 24T pinion for the 10.5T motor made my electronics get hot. The 21T pinion for the 3300kV to 3900kV motor was fine. But 21T to 24T is a huge change for motors that are similar - 10.5T/3300kV/3900kV. I'm trying to understand this.

Thumbs down

[QUOTE=JiuHaWong[/QUOTE]

joke is on you

Trcr is like most indoor across the country.
You obviously do not know about ..Ha !

Only thing that make Trcr special is the racers that play there.
good luck with paste & cut put downs..

George read back a page or two.

All the details are there.

Compared to the other front end geometry this one will become the standard.

It's posted a few pages back.....I appreciate WC's enthusiasm and willingness to assist others, whether the setups are universally applicable or not. If I lived in his area I would definitely look him up at the track. A lot of "racers" take themselves way too seriously, I appreciate WC's approach. Rock on George!

None of mine bind at all. All drop freely and swivel since day 1. Havent modified ball cups at all. Maybe I just got lucky??

Biggest issue I have with his miracle setups is each setup change is "the greatest setup" if he stuck to suggesting trying this tweak or that when someone asks how to improve a certain handling trait then I'd feel like he would get a little more respect. Instead we get bombarded with his new hot setup each day. Rarely a mention of what changes he saw in the handling from the setup changes.

I Think he means well. But it comes off badly most times.

to be honest sometimes cherry's post irritate me and I dont always agree with his findings, becuase they dont work for my indoor track and for my driving style. That said, I think we all wish we had the time to spend, testing and tuning and getting our vehicles to drive as perfect as we can get them.
He is a very creative wise man from what I can tell, and I appreciate his input, and advice. Those that are looking to get their cars to handle better for themselves and are on here looking for advice, have nothing to loose trying his setups. If you dont know then ask someone that does. He doesnt know it all but could maybe point you in the right direction.

I just thought it was funny because one we most likely won't run the track and two because we don't drive like him... A lot of people copy others set ups and then wonder why it doesn't work for them. Its also funny about how people say awe the brand/car didn't fit me. That makes no sense, set the car up and drive it and keep driving it and make simple changes and keep driving it, make it fit you. It's like how you see a lot of the same brand at club races. It's like that because people can't figure out their own set up. I appreciate wc figuring it out and testing for himself, but his set up won't be like mine.

I look at all this way .
I'm the forth to ever use the new set up..

The other three are even faster then me but we all agree this new change works good.

You guys are the first to get to try .

How many here are using the flat arms & B5r front tower ?

This is just a refinement of that set up...

No , not a miracle .

Started as a idea, tested sense last Thursday.
Personally race twice with already.
I call that dedicated team work myself.

What's made Wild so pumped to be so excited to tell everyone about ?

B5r Hard flat arm
B5m front shock tower
Shock
1.4x3 flat piston,35w, 4mm limiter, 18mm stroke , Ae green spring..

Shock position = inside on tower & out side on arm

What to expect if you try.

Smoother handling & steering
More over all steering , car finish's sharp corner better.

will perform the same for anyone , anywhere..

5 Roar Nat's
4 Reedy's
4 years N/w NCT(offroad tour)
Mass other events.

Of last few years just local events.

Saving for a out of town event sometime this coming spring though.
