[QUOTE=GTSSTANG;13312281]Hey Wild Cherry, I am looking to try a different setup. I am running 17.5 with the MIP Puck system ready to go in, could you suggest a good setup for stock?[/

Setup ?

Maybe strap on those new ESC capacitors that turn a 17.5 into a mod motor.

Seen those yet ?

Thanks for the tip. I have a flux capacitor that I charge up my stock motor magnets with, but plutonium is getting harder to find and the rotor tends to meltdown after a 6 minute run.

I meant, chassis setup suggestions.

You didn't say what setup you have on your car, but since the stock nationals were just won with the B5M with Hartson's "mod" setup that would be a good place to start, or try George's inline setup. Back before all those annoying wires, many of us used to run mod and stock with the same car and just solder a different motor in for each run between heats. It's too much of a pain now...

looks like 3 or 4 small caps stuck together in shrink-wrap, way bigger then the Lrp setup.

I have a basically box stock setup, with white springs F/R and 1.6 pistons. The front is a bit too soft though. Going to try your shock setup with the Losi pistons too. Thanks

For those want a shorter Ti turnbuckle and want to keep the AE blue... I just built my M with the AE 1.875" turnbuckles pn1405. Still threads I plenty far but a tad shorter than the standard 2". All cups are as smooth as can be.

1.4 x3 vs 1.6
(in the fronts of course)

What the difference/what difference do you feel?

It says they only have five left.

3 x 1.4 has less pack & you should notice more steering compared to 2 x 1.6

Try 4 x 55 losi front 37.5w & 32.5w rear
