Yes, they are running it just like we can buy it out of the box. Even with a one color red paint job.

There has been 10 heats plus each night. 3-4 heats of stock buggy and 2-3 heats of mod buggy.

each piece of aluminum lowers lap times by .15s in mod, but raises lap times by .17s in 17.5 :P

so they just doing more plastic because they know we are all too slow for mod

That was Kody's shell, Steven was running it last week with a shell painted in his colors, I thought you were there for that.

Epic. Like Kevin said 3-4 heats of stock buggy, somewhere between 100-140 racers on Fridays.

Ok this is where i am about the b5. It has alot of plastic parts. but the b4.2 preformed so well i cant doubt this car. the problem i do have is buying this car and have to spend extra money to get all the hop ups. I was thinking about getting the xfactory conversion instead, or a yokomo but i dont know where i really stand.

I'll have to try that! Time to save monies Funny thing about batteries: my last car suffered a… 'detonation,' something about a target the size of a wamprat..

I am in the SAAAAAME boat as you.. Do I get a used B4, or a Yoke, or the new B5M? It all comes down to personal preference I finally decided today to preorder the new B5M! The Yoke just doesn't have enough support at my track (not a single person driving it and no parts at the LHS), the old B4 is nice but I want a MM car.. I'll worry about getting hop-ups when I break stuff

Hi there

Funny thread
No one knows how this new car performs out of the box, but so much people here talking about must have hop up parts.

I don't know what you guys are talking about with the Yokes.. I was only saying that the only support I have for a Yoke chassis in my area is via online stores and I prefer to have parts on hand at the LHS.

As for the B4 performing well, no doubt it is awesome and proven itself for over 10 years! But that's 10 years running one platform for me.. It will be nice to start fresh with a new chassis I'm more excited for the B5M than I was for when they were coming out with the B3! And that's saying something!
