Vito, you want a 7.5 Reedy like me Bro ham.

Makes it easier to chase BMW's down the street. (jk)

Nice 17.5 motor though, take good care with it..

definitely i would vote to spend $90 on a motor since you dont seem to race every week. and even then is the track you go to support a 17.5 class or only mod?

Sounds like he's running the "Hartson" (think mid March) centered setup. Shorty is normal (sideways) not in-line. You've seen this setup... in person no less.

Seems like no one is running the foams in the chassis (embedded pieces) anymore.. Just because it's easier for the battery to sit flush?

No prob wc. The pics shown are the correct setup for this:
http://www.petitrc.com/setup/associa..._IRCR20140406/

You will notice if you look closely that the pics dont match the setup sheet.

I switch back and forth between inline shorty and hartsons setup. Right now I have settled on hartsons setup for the current track im racing at. You can switch back and forth fairly easy.

Here ya go. Running b5 rear arms flipped make a HUGE difference also.

okay quick question I am running 33/69 gearing on my stock trinity 17.5. I just put on a schelle nova clutch ceramic bearings and a mip topshaft. Only problem was they only had a 84 and 66 spur for the slipper. I'm gonna test the 33/66 tomorrow but was wondering how you thought it would be? Running 35 degree timing now and temps never get over 150 with current gearing/timing

Default Another inline install

Just wanted to share my inline install, its like Hartson's. Removed seperators behind servo and infront of battery, left battery posts. Airtronics receiver, HW justock esc. tight but fits, and gives me the ability to move the battery forward if needed for tuning. Im super happy with this setup.

Probably not going to get the top speed out of it that you want. I'm running 33/72 with a 17.5 and 30 degree timing on a reedy. You are going to want to get the 72 tooth spur.

Were doing the opposite, been working to free the car up so it's Hard everywhere & battery forward to get better jumping & stability in the corners.

You tried adding some bump steer yet ?

That's my next change to test..
Heard good things about doing.
