Yeah, especially considering EVERYBODY is sold out of the sweet J Concepts finned turnbuckles now...

Just a quick update for those who have asked the rear motor/mid motor question.
Steven Hartson ran his B5M Wednesday for the first time.
His fast lap was the same as what he ran with his B5 but his overall was 2 seconds faster for 5 minutes. This was at OCRC on the Reedy race layout. Traction was up as everyone was going fast that night. Steven says his car was ok but he still wants to adjust the shock set up some.

Debate away, I'm just try to pass on the info.

I can't post URLs.

On their home page, scroll to the bottom, click the Information=> support link. That page describes the different bearings they sell.

From the videos I have seen the B5M's all look sweet!
That being said I'm gonna get one of each so I can run stock and mod, test and see which is better in each class...

<---- My poor 4.2 is gonna be orphaned soon!

I believe we will end up with rear being slightly quicker & mid being easier to drive fast and be more consistent.

Sean thank you for the info. 2 seconds to me isn't that large of a margin. Its a bobble here or there. Or a lap or two stuck behind a slower guy.

If you would have said 5-7+ seconds faster overall, with .3+ faster hot lap, I would say B5M is the car to have.

I'm picking mine up today in an hour and I'll be down to 702 soon. Predu - I thought you were going to stick with the RM?
