Explain this to me like I am 5 because I am obviously not seeing your point.
i think he is saying that the center of mass of the battery looks similar to the stock back position, but with this you remove alot of "mass-roll" so the car doesnt dump in the center of the corner as much.

Yeah I see what he is saying. I ran by battery all the way forward so it won't be remotely the same. I found that to work best with the shorty packs that are 155 grams.

This makes sense. The roll is what we are addressing by going inline correct?

my pleasure, make sure to check ride height before running.
Suggest 23.5mm front & rear.

Take the time to remove the battery tray & separate the thumb screws.
Its the fun part....lol

If you feel the need for more traction suggest green rear spring.

I'm running for shocks

Front
1.4 x 3 piston ,37.5w ,Grey front
Rear
1.6 x 2 , 32.4w, white spring

1554 box stock, except for shock mounts, and inline electronics. Was 1608ish before that. I'm waiting on some new 14 gauge wire to redo mine and put the esc up front. It's really starting to feel like I own a kyosho lol.

I personally have only ran the stock plastics and setup and had a few rough tumbles due to high speed traction rolls coming off the straight into a table jump. The worst that has happened was a bent turnbuckle. I am still using the stock ones which are not very durable. Most guys switch over to the lunsford ones (still waiting for backorder).
But beside the turnbuckles you haven't experienced any big weaknesses?
Thx

I eventually want to race this in stock, so would this list be a decent start?

Mip top shaft
Mip pucks
Shaved gears
Nova slipper
Ceramic tranny bearings
No bearing shields
Titanium front axles and tierods
Mixed in titanium and aluminum screws
Hobbywing extreme stock esc, very light and great in stock
Ceramic motor bearings

still might want the alum rear camber block for durability.

Already have it, and I will probably get the arm mounts to remove the slop in them
