Maybe I'm wrong but I think the Serpent MM buggy is a better buy over the Team Edition B5m.

Plus you don't have to wait for the Factory Team B5m to come because the Serpent already has everything already.

I was looking so hard at the B5 I didn't take the time to compare them side by side. The Serpent is a clear winner in my eyes but both buggies do look great. I just think the serpent comes with a little better options.

But one thing I have heard the QC on the Serpent was not as good as expected. So will just have to wait on the B5 and the MM Serpent.

If the B5 build goes good and the Serpent QC doesn't get any better ill be keeping the B5.

Just my .2

both the serpent and the b5m are not out yet. So no one can really say. Also, the serpent is NOT decked out. No more so than the b5m. But time will tell which car is better.

Yes sir....time will tell

I do like the spring steel and the nice plastic on the Serpent.
Can't wait to build a B5 and see it up close.
Maybe the steel and the plastic is the same will see what's up pretty soon.

"same" plastic? No. Will it be "good" plastic? Hopefully. Spring steel......I honestly cant say its good or bad for the car. I know it works good on springs

I don't think the Serpent can accept the new Reedy square packs like the B5 does.
Not saying its a game changer but I like the thinking!

Unless an enduro category that requires 5000mah+ emerges I can't imagine why that would be desirable.

anything that runs saddle packs sidexside will fit the square.

the b44.2 wont accept the square...any car that accepts saddles and has no additional spacing between the cells will accept saddles.

It is nice when a heat starts a bit late and we all end up taking a bunch of extra practice laps and at the end of the heat (or main) your battery isn't getting soft.

outdoors the extra weight can be nice. Plus, you get a higher avg voltage given the same IR

The easy fix is don't take a bunch of practice laps. It's usually the motor (heat) that goes soft more than the battery.
