you should just build the car.. it only takes 10-15 minutes to change out the front end parts when you get them.. then you can compare the 2 front ends.

personally I like the gull wing better as its a little quicker reacting. but again its not the arms its the tower that makes the difference, but you have to use the gull tower with the gull arms and same with rmb5 tower and arms.

I like the gull wings myself, but a lot of good things said about the flat arms.

So the B5M and B5 come with different springs in the kit? My B5 came green fronts, white rears. I just got 2 B5Ms in the mail and both have green rears, white fronts.

Unless your racing stock, the kit is fine as is. For stock, your spending has just started and even the FT wont have what you need. In fact, the FT kit will be even heavier because of the alum parts. IMO the alum parts are for durability, but the car does not really seem to be weak anywhere accept maybe the rear inner ballstud mount. That might be the only "required" bling.
Thanks for your feedback

So is the general consensus for high bit clay the following?
-B5R Flat Front Arms
-B5R Front Shock Tower
-B5R Rear Arms flipped with .5mm spacers
-Shorty pack

Thanks!

The first two items go hand in hand; don't do one w/o the other.

5mm spacing ? No. Get the arms and you'll see no spacing is needed, aside from maybe some small shimming forward if you are running the plastic arm mounts.

It would've taken less effort to answer the question, and you'd save someone the hassle of having to sift through 200+ pages of this thread. A little bit of civility makes this place a lot more enjoyable.

Seriously....There is a little search button on the top of this thread, it will only search in this thread. Just type "factory team" and view the responses. You can only answer a question 37 times before it gets old.

Here, i did it for you:

Sorry I meant .5mm spacers as it looks like from what others are saying it takes a little shimming forward to switch the rear arms out.

Or someone can just post the information on the first page. Something like:

THERE IS NO ETA ON THE FACTORY TEAM KIT.
