I wonder why Steven cut out all the chassis braces and doesn't have a battery strap? Weight (intentional) a minute, he runs mod, and WEIGHT IS IMPORTANT!

Flex maybe? I recall reading that he ran his centro in a similar fashion.

This has become the layout of choice for electronics from what I've seen on a few SoCal AE drivers. I believe...

1) Get every bit of weight you can with the shorty pack configuration as far back in the chassis as possible.
2) Weight from Rx and ESC is now balanced down the middle of the chassis.
3) Cleaner / Easier to wire the electronics

My only guess is that he is going to run the stock nats race at ocrc and he will be running that setup for the stock car?

Has anyone found doggones that fit the B5M that are lightweight than the stock ones? I tried the TLR 22 ones, they do work. However they broke over time because they are a little thinker in diameter towards the pins, and they got a groove in them over time. Turns out the outdrives are a little narrower. Anyone find an alternative?

I'd say patience is key, the MIP pucks should be out very soon!

I will try and post a picture. When the suspension in fully compressed the outdrives rub on the dogbone right like 2mm from the pins. After repeated impacts and full compressions they will snap. Mine did. Anyone know when the MIP will be out? Or anything else that fits?

Gull wing for lower traction, they tip in more but steer less in the middle & exit.

Flat for high traction
Tip in is smoother , a little more steering in the middle and exit.
