MIP has developed a puck system for mod 2wd buggy. I was told it will be out very soon by Matt Olsen.

Because now you don't have to do mods. You can build it from the box and race it.

However more and more tracks are going to great lengths to bring up the traction so people can run MM. More dirt, more clay, more sugar, more laundy soap, more water, more steam rollers, more grandmas secret sweet tea mix........My thing is if you're going to work that hard at it just put in carpet and be done with it.

That's been standard practice for AE for years. First they roll out the Team Kit. Then they roll out the RTR. Last comes the Factory Team Kit. It is usually in that order.

This seems kind of silly these days. No one else is doing this anymore. It's just double dipping.

Love how the new cars look. Will be getting one for sure, I'll stick with my Centro though for now as I'm really happy with it, I'll get the B5 RM for blinky racing, and stick with the Centro for Mod.

Not needed anymore, captured by the bearing which makes a cleaner, simpler design.

How can yout tell, is there a manual?

Edit - I see above it's captured in the bearing. Sweet and one of the things I was hoping for - no gluing the CVA.

HaHa All this talk about MIP and no one answered my question LOL. Will the pucks system fit on the new B5, or has the drivetrain changed? I don't want to waste 70 bucks if it won't fit. I didn't see anything on changing the drivetrain shorter or longer.

You'll want to wait because of the new design.
