I will be curious to see what changes from kit, will become a standard change for an overall improvement on any track. For example, the 25º versus 30º blocks. Maybe we will all like 30 instead of 25. Or shock positions...

I'm one excited dude. I'm just getting back in the hobby after a few years away, so I bought a new car and all new running gear. I looked at the B5, but was more drawn to the B4.2FT (shiny parts) and bought one. Now after seeing you guys post your cars up, it made me rethink my decision. So.. I sold my B4.2 and ordered a B5 and some JC Ti turnbuckles =))
PS. I did all this while offshore and not at home lol. I should have a car to build come Wednesday when I get back in!!!!!!

Turnbuckles, if you use an aftermarket set that has a larger/thicker shank (non threaded middle part) you may run into problems. The ball cups thread WAY onto the turnbuckle and are very tight.
Could cut the ball cups down I guess. Just note that it may be an issue.

Seems like the cab has been moving back on the Jconcepts bodies a little bit. Or is it just me seeing that?

Also, planning on running the steel turnbuckles till I get some blingy ti. I can't imagine they would bend with all that ballcup on them, would they? Been running steel on my 22T and SCT for more than a season without issue...

Shinny side is 5.2mm, Dull side is 5.0mm
So you may notice a difference when snapping in the shock end balls.

The stock steel TLR turnbuckles are pretty tough (for most) but they're also thicker than AE ones. Steel AE TB's in the past have been crap but you may be right, with that much ball cup supporting them they may hold up pretty well.
