I've tried a couple different spring and oils combinations in the rear, and I can get it a little better, but not great. Any ideas? I'm at the point where I might need to move on from the car if I cannot get it better within another week or two. I've driven my friend's Serpent mid motor, and its feels the way I think my B5m should. It just drives easier, handles the corners way better, and it's just a nice kit with a few features the B5m doesn't have, for only $40 more. I'd like to get this B5m dialed like everyone else is claiming they have theirs. Kind of confused at this point. My buddy who is a mechanical engineer and quite good with tuning cars is a little stumped how to help at this point. Both of us agree the car just feels edgy to drive and my car hooks consistently on sharp corners. Starting to bum me out.

Could be tires or give it some camber out! I am running 0 all the way around

What was your initial setup and what have you tried adjusting?

rigor, Use Kody's setup as a baseline at OCRC. That's where I started. I know Kody was using GRAY springs in the front, and he is using a SQ battery pack. If you're using a Shorty pack I would suggest moving to Green springs in the front for more steering feel.

I'll be at OCRC on Friday for practice and the club races. If you see me with the green/yellow B5M feel free to come over and chat. I'm always happy to help out!

The three things I tell people to first check if they have rear traction issues are:
1. Ride Height
2. Diff, make sure it's not too tight/locked up.
3. Tires

Cheers!

WOOOOW, I'm guessing some people must be HARD up for some front A-arms!

I've been looking for some extra A-arms and NOBODY has gotten any.

well at least it's more than just the arms.

I have a set of the straight arms but that's it.

My b5m's maiden voyage was at LRH and I experienced the rear end get super loose in haripin turns also. I was thinking of adding a little weight in the rear end. Other than that the care is a missile around the track. Works awesome!

The chart I've seen shows the measured rate no where near the claimed rate.
I haven't looked at the rating since I was at the track working on set up but I had a few AE guys tell me they went to the white springs all the way around and Hartson runs them since they are more consistence then the ae springs.

To me they feel more progressive and it seems to make the car more active and not so flat.
