ive been running mip rollers with the regular aluminum puck outdrives for months now and they have not worn at all. running a 7.5 on medium grip clay. I am very pleased with the quality of MIP products.

Hi all,
I was racing my car on a indoor carpet track, smooth and high traction, and my b5m keeps on lifting the inside rear wheel on slower corners (90-180 degree corners) and then over rotating or spinning. I tried a few things but cant seem to stop it lifting and rotating on entry (its roll induced). Not sure what to change with the car or radio.

Standard B5M FL, hard front arms, purple front spring/yellow rear spring, 24mm ride height (i lowered it and it didnt completely fix the issue), 1.6x2 shock pistons, 40wt front, 32.5wt rear (lengths/cups as standard), -1mm camber front&rear, 3+1mm toe in rear, standard spacing for roll centres/ball studs, caster block insert 0 degree, 25mm brass kick up, gear diff 3000k. No ARB

Had this problem on a super high traction clay track with both my b5m and Xray. Sure you already tried this but raised the link 2mm at the Hub and lowered them at the ballstud mount. Problem solved.

Looks like you have a lot of front stiffness and damping compared to the rear. This will make the car steer hard on entry, and is most likely what's going on. I would suggest backing off on the front spring rate, and backing the front damping (37.5?). If you back off too much on both, the rear will over roll on the exit.

Anti roll bar can be good here too. Provides strong roll resistance without adding shock spring rate.

Carpet ride heights are usually lower in the 18-20 mm range.

Raising roll center, as mentioned above, can be good too. Going too far that way, you may find the rear leaping/edging over as this change limits the mechanical advantage of the chassis to roll.

Check out the Ray Munday setup sheet. He provides a carpet setup in context of setups for other surfaces.

B6 gear diff drops right into my B5M lite (using no shims). I bought a B6 and put the B5M ball diff in there and the B6 gear diff in my B5M.
