4 gear case v2 91551
Idle gear 91429

4 gear motor plate
91546 black
91547 blue
Gear cover 91435

You will also need two more 5x10 bearings for the idler.

I run the 4 gear in everything outdoor around here. It's great!

Thank you very much!
Does the 91428 Motor Plate work, too?

Another Question: I run a used Airtronics Servo and it gets about 40C/110F after a complete run of 15mins. Is that normal?

I am thinking of swtiching the servo. Could go for a Thundertiger DS1015 (has different names, but all 1015 should be the same!). I run it in my SC5M and no complains. Or I am thinking of the spektrum 6040 - but I have never used one. You guys are all over the servo and say its the best bang for the buck. Here in germany both cost the same!

Any suggestions?

Cool. I might just get a used B5M and convert it to 4 gear tranny for the track in my area . Are these all parts mafe by Team Associated?

I bought a b5m lite. What's a good inexpensive motor for club racing?

Anyone use these Parma slot car gears as a pinion? Any noticeable results?

Not worth it...they are plastic, don't last as long as a regular aluminum pinion. weight savings is extremely negligible.

Yes, that motor plate will work just fine! It's just not milled.

For servos, the 1015 was always awesome for me! Ran them for years and never a failure in any car. Well worth the money!
The only other I could personally recommend from experience is the Reedy RT1508. I currently run these in all my cars. Very durable and perform great.

Thanks!
Some say the 1015 is "way to slow" with its 0,108s...I looked at Savx (use a 1257 in my B5R) but I can find "hundreds" of reviews that state brownouts and whatsoever.
But all these reviews seem to be quite "old" - so no new news here? Using a DX4R and SR2000 and/or SR410 RX. Will brownouts still be an issue?

Or should I look for another servo? Which? As I understand the Spektrum S6040 is a rebranded 1258TG, so brownouts here too?

And please dont tell me to swtich to airtronics I am not a competitive driver and except the radio itself, the RX prices are just crazy and not manageable for me!

Does this servo have a plug that fits Futaba recievers? and what servo horn did you use for the B5M lite?

Just make it easier, Trackstar turbo 120a and a Trackstar Outlaw 17.5, for less than $100 to your door.
