Have AE in the blood lol..
There are only 2 things I dont like about this car and AE is fixing one of them. It's weight and the front spindles. Cain, I have a fiend selling a B5M also

Inside of the front bulkhead there is a space that allows one to put weight inside, keeping it as forward as possible. Perfect little nook to stuff weight into. Start with 14 grams and work your way up or down based on need.

Hi Tommy,

It uses a standard 30mm fan (outside dimension of fan body). I'll add a note to the diagram -- good input. Thanks for ordering a brace!

Thanks,
Erik of Erik's Parts.

Erik, will it work with the 8.4v R1 wurks fan?

The brace will take the fan, but the only body I have seen that fits with the thick fan without cutting is the RC Promask Mohawk. Thin fans will fit all bodies, except the stock B5M body.

I run a homebrew T5M, and there is plenty of room in there for any fan with a truck body.

Are there any essential upgrades to B5 that affects its performance drastically. Just wondering cause mine is totally stock and i was looking into aftermarket parts but there just seems to be som many of them that its confusing which is truly needed.

What I have locally found out: In short no, nothing is really needed. Most upgrades are for better look (bling) and some are for enchanged durability. Which generally is not even needed. B5/B5m is considered remarkable durable out of the box. Here aftermarket "hard" plastic parts seems to brake more often tought, but nothing is "hard" plastic in stock car.

The Alloy C and D blocks are great because they add a layer of tuning.

Schelle/Avid slipper.

Default Shocks

Is there an upgrade for the shock shafts out there yet. I've searched and can't find anything. Are the stock ones good enough?

Also. I'm just at the shock building phase of my new kit and I'm confused as to which spring perch to use. The manual say to use 5mm offset but the parts are labeled 1-4. I'm probably just being stupid but which ones do I use?

Kit shafts are good, no need for anything else.

Forget the numbers on them and just look at the height of each. You want 4 of the middle height ones.

I just threw 14 grams of weight up front in the bulkhead and mine is prrfect. Like it Better then my B5M especially in stock.[/QUOTE]
Going to try a wing angle change first, then maybe moving spacers in rear for longer chassis. track changes from practice day to race day so I will make adjustments. just need some track time more than anything; )
