I had the same problem when I built my the esc which is a Novak GTB 1st gen fit fine and the receiver but that dumb hugh cap. On it i had no choice but to mount it on top of my servo even when i cut out them parts.

I actually haven't run it yet. I'm waiting on the JC servo mount and for my brother to finish his build so we can head over to the track together.

Does anyone have a jconpects wing mount set. this thing has been out of stock for like 2 months, im wondering if they will ever sell it again.

The stock wing mount. Cut the nubs off, drill and tap a couple holes and screw your wing on. Aluminum is just the wrong material for the application IMO.

WHat do you use to screw the wing on and do you screw it right into the plastic mount?

I use avid wing buttons and screw right into the plastic. I didn't tap it. I just drilled it smaller and let the screw make its own threads to be tighter...

You can use a body reamer to cut a circular hole in the battery foam. Place it in there (if you always keep the battery foam in the back).

battery in the back, foam in the front that is. Looks quite clean if you insert it properly

The full one that wraps around right? I have that same one, was a tight squeeze but since I removed the plastic brace I though it was a good swap.

Yes that one. What servo are you using? Does it place the servo in a different position than with the stock mounts? I wasn't thinking that I would have to cut to make it fit...
