So I got the AE aluminum C mount and inserts for my B5m short course. My eyesight is pretty good but oh my god those inserts are hard to read. Besides a magnifying glass is there anything that would make it easier to read them?

I use a sharpie to highlight the numbers. Makes them much easier to read when they are in the car as well.

That was my plan. I do that with spur gears and it works real well. However the numbers on spur gears seem to be much easier to read. I tried on two and never got more than one number highlighted without coloring the whole thing

I sharpied out the numbers and background. Then did my best to wipe the numbers clean again. That gave a wider outline to read.

Black sharpie them then skim over it with a different color just so you highlight the ridges bringing the numbers out.

Or color each side differently then laminate a chart to your pitbox.

Heavily sharpie a piece of paper or surface and then quickly dab the insert onto the marker spot, using it like an ink pad. The marker dries quickly, so you'll need to be fast and probably have to make a couple of "marker patches" do get them all done. If you use the right amount of pressure you'll highlight the numbers only.

Stock plate is 20g
My 2mm CF plate is 7g
Those are numbers I got on the scale. I believe I saw somewhere that the milled FT plate is 13g?

It's a custom job. But it should weigh the same as any other carbon plate of that thickness since it is in the stock plates shape
