Talk to Zeke Ballinger. He is an AE driver that races at MHOR.

Default Difference between 91528 and 91412 rear arms

I searched the thread and can only find a post as to "how they feel" when driving.

I have both sets here and physically they look very similar, they are stamped differently. The 91412 (lite & B5)arm does not have the cut out that the 91528 (Team & CE) arm has, aside from that they appear to be the same

What is the difference???

VERY little difference, the B5 arm moves the hub forward either 1 or 2 mm. Not much but it does give a lil bit more rear traction. That's why most ppl were putting them on early on. I did on both of my B5M's.

You probably want the "lite" version. New vs used? depends on the used car? And if you want to build it. There is not much you need to do to upgrade the B5m lite out of the box. So buying used with upgrades might be a bit useless. Most of the crap people put on the car is exactly that....crap. New vs used? Do you need to save a couple dollars? Honesly with the coupon codes on tower/amain, buying used seems fruitless, unless you pick up a cherry used car for a steal.

get a champions edition that launched last year. the shocks alone justify the extra 80 bucks and it has alot of extras. I couldnt be happier with it.

Yeah I couldnt agree with this more, the coupons now that they all have makes getting a new one the way to go

I bought the B5M FactoryLite(only one available at my local shop) and purchased the Kashmia shock bodies separately.

But if you can find a CE it does come with a bunch of extra tuning parts. Unfortunately it does not have the LCG transmission.

I'm sorry but if you are buying bling shock bodies (pretty much what Fox shock bodies are) there is money that could be MUCH better spent on other stuff. Like tires or practice days or entry fees. Sorry, feeling salty this morning. Just my $0.02....

The remind me of the old RC-10 shocks .

I also bought MIP Pucks, Set of proline Primes & Microns along with CB Cut gears.

The shop I bought it at gave me 5 free race passes and Monday is free practice.

Check mate. More shops should do this when making big purchases....like kits .

I have the CE kit and wish I had gotten the lite honestly. Seems like the shocks and all of the aluminum upgrades are just some bling you don't really need, but I could be wrong. It was already more expensive and I'm going to end up spending another $89 on the lite chassis.

Kits may be a several hundred $ purchase for you... but its a small profit for them more than likely. Although you should get good service whether you buy a kit or a part or whatever.

Yes. Shops only make a small percentage on kits. But....by giving you some free practice you will be back buying tires / parts. Those items have more room for profit.
