Matt - Do you tape a battery in permanently until you change? Use tape/velcro?

Associated and JConcepts have them. What part are you looking for? Ae sells each part individual and as a kit. JC sells it as a complete kit.

I have been taping it in before a race weekend. I charge with it in the car. I took it out to take these pics. I could leave it in longer but I usually clean up my car after a race day. I use the gray 3m tape and have no issues...usually have to pry it out a little, its in there pretty good.

I tape mine in as well and I haven't had any issues with it coming loose. Charge it in the car as well.

I see that jconcepts sells a spring steel set. It kinda looks like just bling to me though. Is it lighter or just better looking ?

They are roughly the same weight as stock. They have been holding up great. I think they were originally designed for corrosion resistance for places like FL where the humidity is through the roof. These wont rust/oxidize.

If you don't want pucks then just stick with the stock stuff. If you can find them the TLR 22 aluminum bones will work. That will lighten it up a bit but still use a pin / regular outdrive.

The titanium axles are amazing.

Just don't crash.

It should say "just dont look at them funny". They bend when you drop your car on the track...

They weren't that bad, but a big crash would bend them for sure.
