A used B5M FL just appeared! Could get it for 170$ (5races, just minor scratches to the bottom).
Would you think for this track a B5m would be good/better than my B5? The track can be dusty as shown or whenever it rains, it gets super sticky kind of clay.
Dont know what to do

Does anyone have pics of a b5m, normal transmission, with a fan and using the jcon S2 body. Trying to find a clean place to add a fan and there isn't much space to work with.

That was fast. I should have searched but thanks for the quick reply. He and I are having virtually the same thought process. Except he figured out the answer.

What are most guys at your track running? I would stick with what a proven combo is at your track. At mine, it is 80% or more B5m so that is the way I went.

That's me. I run the S2 body and have no issues with clearance. I tape the pack in and have zero issues. This is probably version 3 or 4 that I'm on.

Correct. Make sure you open the hole in the waterfall big enough so that the fan doesn't touch any part of it. Also, I mounted the cf part to the cradle and put an oring between the two to allow some movement as the chassis flexes and what not.

I'm sure it does slightly, the sides of the waterfall haven't been dremeled out but a good section of the middle.
