Is the "Factory Lite"version more suited to Astro and high grip clay surfaces?

We need to builsd a track and I must say astro would be far less maintenance but expensive to build, although getting some second hand astro is possible.

Looks like another China hacking scam to me.

"Sorry, we only accept credit cards... but its a "secure" transaction. When you bill arrives, pay no attention to the other $6000!!!

If you look at the links, its the same car. 2 different part number, 2 different prices, bad spelling, all the major signs of getting bent over. Plus shipping from China is going to take awhile and not be cheap to say the least.

Factory lite is more suited to 17.5 but can be run in mod as well. In mod, you want the standard chassis due to the weight. The CE is the best deal going on the B5M now.

Everything fit very well. Chassis is drilled for the waterfall, so its a good tight install.
I do have 1 or 2 things to tweek on the for between the waterfall and battery strap. Its a little snug. But easily fixed.

Anyone think that there will be a new B5M in 2016?

No. No reason to. There is very, very little to improve on this car for actual dirt racing.

I think there will be a full FT version in the spring. It will have all the goodies but that's just pure speculation. The CE is only a "limited production". What will replace that when it runs out?! I will further speculate that the chassis will be updated with additional screw holes for an optional "lay-down" style transmission. I doubt we will see a dedicated carpet car. The current B5M is rock solid and killing it on the track and podium.

How's the durability? I've only tried one 3D printed piece and it was somewhat brittle.

If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is.

I need to get some track time to get more info on this.

But, I've been running the original 4gear lcg case (from ac_gear on shapeways) for quite some time. I did have a brace made for it to keep if from breaking where it attached to the shock tower. While using that brace, I've had no issues with the original 4gear case.

My buggy acts like a bucking bronco with on and off trigger inputs and doesn't fly as flat as it used to. It's an older 4 gear kit with some mods. I have deviated from the stock shock package, but who hasnt. I think I can figure out the jumping situation. I need some help with the frontward and rearward weight transferring that's going on. It just seems like a lot of energy is being wasted during these moments.

I was looking at my 3+2 block, but noticed it's never really used on any of the setupsheets that I have seen. I did notice a lot of 3 gear boxes checked tho. Could anyone offer up some advice? It would be appreciated. Later

It sounds to me like you have too light a shock oil/piston combo for the springs you are running. I would tell you to go back to stock, and see how it feels. I too am running an OG kit with 4-gear and i don't have an issue. I am running flat 1.4x3 all the way around with 32.5 all around as well, stock springs. This is on a tight indoor track.

I don't know about that. Haven't you been reading the tlr 22 3.0 thread , it says that's the best car ever created so AE has some work to do lol.
