I'd look at savox servos. I've never used one, always ran spektrum, but my next servo will be a savox black edition. Never used savox for the sole reason of the ugly orange aluminum. Now they have the same servos with black aluminum.
black edition also has a big rubber grommet/cover now where the wire comes out of the case and black tubing covering the wire as well. haven't tried it in the buggy yet but it's definitely gonna be tight.

Likely not a release of a car, maybe a upgrade kit if even possible without hacking your base car up?

Anyways here is the story on the winning car for 2WD:

Hey guys, sorry to cross cars but is there any width differences between the B5R front shock tower and the B5M front shock towers? Which one is wider? Thanks in advance!

Digger have you even driven the buggy as it is? You do what you want with your money but throwing a bunch of parts won't buy you placings more than track time.

Yes, they are different widths, the B5M tower (for use with gullwing arms) is the wider one.

I've been using one for 10 months on lower grip/bumpy tracks and it works better than the stock chassis for those conditions thanks to additional and tunable chassis flex. If you aren't on a medium or low traction surface, it would just look pretty and might make the car push.

I was looking at Savox too, I have heard brown out issues with Spekrum stuff though.
