I am just about to order the waterfall off of shapeways and need a fan for it. I would like to find one that connects to the battery leads and blows as much air as possible. I saw the muchmore fans but read some negative reviews on amain.

I had a muchmore can on my on-road car and it was fine. If you are looking for the best around look at the r1 works fans of Yeah Racing. You can get them from TQ Racing

The R1 Wurks 35mm fan can not be beat when hooked to 8.4V. It will sound like a jet engine taxying the runway.

Anyone know the difference between associated part numbers 91419 & 7664. Both are 52 tooth diff gears. 91419 is the B5 part number while 7664 was for the B4. I am curious if there is a physical difference between the two........

Do you have a link to the waterfall with fan mount? Are you opening any vents in the body to allow air flow? Thinking that an opening at the front will allow air to flow over all the electronics and help keep everything cooler overal

x100. I ran the R1 on my touring cars... Sounded like I accidentally left my finger on the throttle when the fan kicks on.

Having said that, they are VERY thick... im not sure they would fit on the waterfall. I imagine you might need one with a lower profile? (just guessing)

I could be wrong but I think the b4 had less diff balls(12 vs 14?)

Thanks guys! I looked at the TQ web site and they show out of stock. The waterfall says to use a 7-10mm thick fan but was thinking on the stock body to just cut the part of the body that goes over the transmission and that would allow it to clear.

The R1 on a light car with a well built drivetrain is mind blowing. You literally could not over heat the motor for any length of time because of this combo.

Fits just fine with JC bodies and the FTW bodies.

There's a "waterfall" on shapeways that is meant for a 30mm fan.

Thanks for the good words about it. I emailed R1wurks about ordering it direct since no one has it in stock and they are going to send me a invoice.

I saw this waterfall on there along with a couple others. Which one would be the best one to use?
