I'd also suggest looking at a different chassis--as some of the other chassis' may be lighter. Also you may want to look into getting a better servo or checking the steering settings to make sure that the Onfa is responsive when pulling into the turns.

Since you already have the Onfa--getting a new ESC-motor combo could help--if you are already planning on getting the Losi chassis, you might as well as get the ESC too if your budget could handle it. Either way if you get the ESC-motor and get the LOSI chassis, you'd have a killer setup planned out

Awesome advice everyone, thanks so much!

I'm convinced that a chassis upgrade is in need. I was at the track tonight racing, and chatted amongst the racers there, and they all agreed as well. However when I mentioned Losi, I was surprised at the fact that the top drivers in my club all had nothing but bad things to say about it.

They all seem to think if I'm going to get a new buggy, Tekno, Mugen, or Kyosho are the only way to go. Apparently the Losi just doesn't "work" as well as the others do.

Anyone care to comment on that?

Are they talking about the new 3.0e or the 2.0? I don't like the 2.0 but the 3.0 is awesome. The mbx7e is great, tons of steering and great quality. The tekno, never could get mine dialed, they struggle at the tracks i frequent. Kyosho, rock solid and stable, everyone is copying their geometry. The d812 is an awesome driving car with tons of adjustments and is very similar in geometry to the kyosho. I love mine.

Ge the most maxed out Losi 2.0 you can find . The common parts alone will help you in the long run. The Losi truggy and buggy respond in the same fashion to chassis changes , and this will help you tune both . Tekno is the flavor of the day though , and you will definitely look cooler with one of those, so that should be on the short list
