Looking for new turnbuckles and ball cups and probably ball studs. anyone have any ideas what is a direct fit?
I was looking at JC, don't know if these will be ok or what ball cups to use with these. Should I just get JC turnbuckles, & ball studs for for Associated stuff then buy like B5M cups or what?
https://www.jconcepts.net/shop/rc10b...turnbuckle-set
https://www.jconcepts.net/shop/jconc...and-wedge-36pc
Or Lunsford has kits on amain with turnbuckles and cups but not specifically for the srx2. Maybe someone can just tell me the lengths of the turnbuckles I would need and also what size ball studs (ball size and thread length) because they sell individual sizes of both so I could just buy them separate instead of in a kit. I could do the measuring but I am at work for a 12 hr shift and would like to order something today.

I would appreciate the help with this... Thanks

If you're on FB, join the group and ask there. It's way more active.

Good morning,

Are there any tips on getting the ball cups to snap onto the ball studs? Let's keep this thread alive, I'd rather be here than on Face Book.

My shock pliers have a ball stud part that I use. Just make sure you are snapping the ball into the right end of the ball cups, one side is bigger than the other.

just sent a request for the FB page but i figured i would ask here too.

only got to run my car twice in the 6 months ive owned it and its setup for stock, it weighs 1492 atm.
So, im going to put the billy easton spektrum setup on it, full ceramics in the tranny, TRY to get a hold of some cut gears and run the exotek aluminum top shaft. i figured with the read brass weight id gain some traction back and the car wouldnt be under weight. What do you guys think? ill be running at the ohio factory track when im up there for work. Its a high bite indoor clay.

when i raced up there a guy had the spektrum setup on his and was dialed compared to my car with the stock setup.

Thanks

The brass rear pivot is a good option to settle the car down and add some weight. I run there from time to time. Some changes you might want to consider would be. 1 down front and rear for the rear suspension inserts, red rear spring, pink or blue front, 3 ackerman and raise the ackerman plates 1.5mm to fix the bump steer, 2mm inner front camberlink washers. Give it a shot and see what you think it should make the car just easier to drive in general.

Default mounting front wing

I'm wanting to try the front wing but having trouble visualizing how to install the included mounting bracket. Anyone have some insight or photos they could post? Thanks!!!

I figured it out once it arrived. Hope I don't nose dive and break the mount. Wondering if the JCon one on the tower might be better alternative.
