Which Ackerman option provides the smoothest steering. My cars a little to twitchy for my liking. I have plenty of entry steering and don't mind giving up a little bit. I was thinking of adding a little more castor, I would think that might help too.

High bite clay....go to 25* will calm the car considerably.....Everyone will disagree, but it works.

Go to #1 theory is it'll calm initial.

The car already comes stock with 25. I was thinking of adding 2.5 at the hub. I'll try #1 Ackerman too. Thanks

The track I run on is probably low to medium bite, so the twitchy steering makes the rear a little loose.

Default steering

Try setting your steering exp to -10 and slow down your servos responce, this worked for me, also make sure you radios steering is not set on high… speed…… . I also dial my epa down so the spindles dont hit the hub, when turned fully

well I finally finished the build of new srx2 mm. the only issue I have is when trying to mount the wing to the mounts, it seems that the wing sits to far forward and it hits the shocks. this makes it impossible to mount without modification. I had to cut recesses into the front of the wing to clear the shocks so it will sit far enough forward to use the original mounting holes. does this sound normal??

Yup, normal. Since the shocks mount on the back of the shock tower, the wing must allow for the shocks. If you look at the cut lines of the wing, you should see marks for it. You'll probably have to go a bit deeper than what's shown though

Hey guys im building my mm this week for stock.

Should i just run a saddle in it? I have both. I read some were for stock just use the kit setup and drop the oil to 25 and run saddles.

Also i read the orings leak, i have some AE x rings, will those work?

Thanks

For stock i would run either a shorty with the balast weight or by itself. I race a lotl of stock and go between these 2 depending on tracks.

Kit set up is a great starting point. I would build it exactly to kit set up and from there you can tweak it to your liking.

Sweet. You know if the ae x rings will work on the shocks?

Are you on Facebook? Highly recommend you join the Serpent Spyder group. Someone there just mentioned AE X rings working.

Just wanted to post up how great this car is. I ran again yesterday one pack at an outdoor track that is not a "race facility", more of a private track. It is not "groomed" and maintained everyday. This car is just so awesome and easy to drive. Very forgiving, lots of forward bite and just a great car to drive. Thanks Serpent for such a fun car and thanks to Loosenuts for letting me run on their track.

I thought I saw a setup for the MM srx2 for 17.5 on facebook. I think it was called "fast setup" or something like that. I was trying to find it and I cant seem to. Does anyone have the pdf? or even know what I am talking about. I was gonna give it a try at the track tonight.
