Hey,
Looks awesome. Too bad I made the mistake of buying a RTR. I've already upgraded the servos and got another DSM receiver for mine. Look into getting the O.S. V-Spec engine too.

hi mate. from my own experience... if this is your first buggy, then prob start off with a cheaper engine. like OS RG. on my first few engines I ruined them, let dirt in and didnt use the right air filter oil. filter fall off etc.

but if budget is big then go for whatever u want

cheers

so long as its dual stage filter should be good enough.

and that oil is the thick sticky oil.

AE (associated) oil is good and is only $2.50 and lasts "ages"

Very nice setup! Is that the special 1? I sure wish I had that kind of coin to drop on a buggy.

Congrats! I used to run a MP-7.5, but got rid of it because the parts are hard to come by in my area. Very nice start I should say.

what do you mean by a three stage filter?

the ones that have a foam peice main section, then a thin foam "sock" that goes over this and a plastic cap?

are the GS buggy air filters 3 stage filters?

Its a sp 1 one edition. And the parts are easy to get in my area, So thats why i got the kyosho. I got to build the shocks and mount the servo tray and all the linkages and i'll be done. I had to stop around 4 am last night...started seeing lobsters on the wall.

P5 is extremely known to be an easy to tune yet powerful engine and really reliable. cost is relatively decent compared to a lot of the engines out there. again, really easy to tune.
