Got a pro line pro 2 with a Gear Ratio of 2.72, and this was my first weekend racing the truck with a Trinity D3.5 17.5 handbuilt certified maxzilla motor and tekin rs gen 2 and had gearing setup at 86Spur and 27pinion and after a 5min race temps would be around 160 degrees so I switched down to a 24T pinion and got temps down to 130 after a few minutes, but lost top end speed...

I am now switching to a 78T spur and wondering if I should try the 27T with that and what effect it will have on accel/speed of the truck. I race a tight indoor carpet truck with wooden jumps with maybe a 80-120' straight...
