Can anyone tell me about the center diff top plate in this picture?



I have the plastic version, and this carbon fiber version looks sweet, but the carbon versions I find look thin and flimsy.

Looks like the standard rc8 top.

I have an RC8, and RC8.2E, and an RC8TE and they all have this plastic top plate:



I have googled/Ebayed:

carbon fiber center top plate
rc8 carbon diff plate


etc. with no luck


The closest I have found is this one:



but it is a lot thinner.

Like I said, its from the original release RC8. Not the B, .2, or T.

I have an OLD rc8 and it has the plastic one!

It is an aftermarket piece for the original RC8.

Not aftermarket. It was from the Factory Team version of the original. The RTR came with the plastic peice.
