Default When you order parts online

Just as headsup to fellow RC Tech members. When you receive your order make sure you check it from head to toe for defects. I received a body last week from a online dealer and prepped it for painting and painted it. It came out pretty good for one of my paint jobs and then I peeled the overspray protector and there was a good size crease in the roof line on one side of the body. I contacted the seller to see what they would do and they offered me 5 bucks off another body. Only because I had painted it already. Please check everything over real good or you will have to run a crappy looking body.

You didn't notice it when you were prepping the body for paint?

This could happen at LHS as much as online. Only difference is you do not have to ship returns to a LHS... if they even take them.

The real issue is that you got as far painting it before seeing the defect. At that point either option would deny a return in most cases.

And let's face it, a SC body, while I agree it is nice to start out nice and pretty.. in the end they all have cracks and creases, it is not a gentle life

No it didn't show until I peeled the overspray film off. My bad I should have inspected better.

It's a stadium body. I was done painting and peeling the film off when I saw it. I just want people to inspect closely before doing anything to there parts. It's my bad for not checking it closer and that's why I didn't name the supplier.

Its not crappy, it's not perfect, but one crash could easily do that same damage…if it was a bad crash.

You all are right and I'm going to run it. The point I'm trying to make is check everything real close and don't do the dumb stunt I did.

Well i always use towerhobbies because they have the best service hands down. I ordered 2 bodies about a month ago and when I received them The box was all smashed I opened it up and the bodies were smashed as well so I called tower and they sent me 2 new one free of charge and told me to keep the smashed ones so now I have 2 free practice bodies.
