Default Best bang for your $$$ 1/10 esc

I'm looking to get the new b4.2 centro. What's the best bang for buck esc out on the market. I used to have the lrp sphere tc spec. I really liked it. Any suggestions would be great.

That will do everything you need for your B4.2. Get the program card and you can have access to different profiles (using boost/turbo) and other advanced programming options.

Why not get another sphere or sxx? You like them and they can be picked up used fairly cheap. I love my sxx v1 tc spec. As for new, look at the Hobbywing stuff.

HW is in my experience not only the " best bang for you buck," but also the best for 1/10 IMO.

+1 While not super super inexpensive, I am running the HW Xerun Stock V3.1 in both my SCT and Buggy. Super easy to program with the program box (or laptop). Also really like the integrated switch and included fan.

The v3.1 is the best 1/10 ESC. I can say that with absolute confidence.

I run one of the HobbyKing 120a X-Car's in my 22. Also used one in a SC10. And another in a Stampede 2wd. USB programming dongles are $5 and there are more tunables than I could ever use.

This IS the best bang for your buck esc right here. You will not find an esc that is this good for $35. Well about $50 shipped with USB programmer. Hobbywing software works on these also.

I just paired one of these with an SMC 6.5t in my DEX 410... It's pretty damn good. You have to run sensored though. If the wire comes out or fails you are hosed. Knowing that, I would have just gone for the X-car.

That said though, I ran 4 5 min heats and a 7 min main with zero issues. Brakes are awesome, ESC is super smooth. Great ESC for the money. Car rips, no boost or turbo, temps around motor temps 150 on high traction turf, programming is super easy with the card.
